"I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough. " ~~~ The Notebook~~~

Project 365 Day 47

At the Larimer County Civic center for 3 more adoption finalizations. What a great way to end a day of work!

Project 365 Day 46

Post Valentine Day fun. I remember loving to play with the cellophane from my mom's candy box as a kid! (Before anyone freaks out: Yes, she's our 6th child, but we WERE supervising her with the this so she was in no danger of suffocating at anytime.) :)

Project 365 Day 45

Our traditional Valentine's day family dinner. We all enjoy it!

Project 365 Day 44

Beginning of W's game. Unfortunately they lost by 12 today :(

Project 365 Day 43

A light topic for Sunday Religious Education class! :) What can I say, this group of 8th graders has lots of great questions about the Church's teachings. Death happens to be one they wanted to know more about.

Project 365 Day 42

Project 365 Day 41

Feeble attempt at capturing a late night snow shower photo

Project 365 Day 40

Had a teacher conference for J today. Was brought to tears by the huge progress he is making, especially in writing. School doesn't come easy for him, but he works tremendously hard. So blessed by this little guy!

Project 365 Day 33

My cello player multi tasking. He's practicing and texting at the same time. Kids never cease to amaze. And I should mention the music was beautiful

Project 365 Day 32

Went dress shopping with my girls tonight. Can you spot the difference in these two dresses? Me either except $31 price difference in their "regular" price. Craziness

Project 365 Day 31

Work is literally piling up here. That's what happens when you take two days out of a week for training ~sigh~. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't think of each file as a potential family for a little one or two.

Project 365 Day 30

Cadette Girl Scouts extracting DNA from a banana as part of a badge learning about forensic science.

Project 365 Day 29

Party guests for L's around the world birthday were met by "security" before proceeding to the passport table

Project 365 Day 28

Pinewood derby! J got 2nd in his pack. His is the yellow streak in this photo. He was excited to win until he learned that his car goes to districts so he can't have it back any time soon

Project 365 Day 27

Day 2 training. Was interesting to learn more about the "how" of writing home studies. Not something I do for my job but will definitely enable me to review them with a more informed eye. And it's always nice to have a new skill!

Project 365 Day 26

Day 1 training.

Project 365 Day 25

Guess what we had for lunch today?
