Project 365 Day Two
Project 365 Day One
Project 365
A few days ago a friend mentioned that she was going to begin Project 365 and hoped she'd complete it. That sparked my curiosity and I soon found that Project 365 is journaling your life through photos one day at a time over the course of the year. See: project 365
There are probably as many reasons as there are people for undertaking such a project. Some want to journal their new baby each day through his first year, others want to improve their photography skills and still others choose a theme to journal. I've decided to give the project a try mainly for the challenge, but also for the self-reflective potential I see in the project. I also figured it couldn't hurt if I shared it on the blog here. Maybe it will encourage me to liven things up a bit. Who knows maybe I'll try blogging again on various topics as a result.
I began on January 1, 2012. I downloaded a cute little 365 app to my new iPhone. It places each day's photo in its calendar slot and sends me a reminder to take a photo. You can find the app here: 365 app I can easily share my photo from the app on facebook or twitter. Pretty handy little app. My iPhone is going to serve as my primary camera mostly because I always have it with me. Anything that simplifies taking the photo and uploading it increases the likelihood of success is my thinking.
So here it goes! Do not expect grand photography here, rather a simple rendering of a photo a day from my ordinary life.
